At Remy's Reach Animal Rescue, every rescue has a story, and every adoption is a celebration! Thanks to our incredible supporters, volunteers, and adopters, we’ve helped countless animals find their forever homes. Here are some of our favorite happy tails!
📍 Chunk's Story: Chunk knew the comforts of house living as a pet, but no fault of his own, when he was 7 years old his life changed as he found himself looking for his forever home. An avid fetcher and stellar leash walker who knew basic commands, Chunk knew he was a prize as an amazing new family member for someone.....but he just wasn't sure where that would be!
❤️ Journey to a Forever Home: Chunk, as such a sweet and laid back guy, was an instant hit at his foster home. He loved everyone, human and animal, and he was a perfect example of a gentleman! He quickly transitioned into his foster home and everyone knew right away that he was a gem of a guy....a real treasure to the rescue!
🏡 Happily Ever After: Today, Chunk has made himself right at home with his amazing forever family! In fact, his forever family has told us that "he is such a sweetie", "he's doing great! It is like he has always been here", "he has made himself right at home", and "He is doing great. He is just part of the family!" He sent us some photos to prove it! We're so happy for you Chunk!!!!
📍 Stevie's Story: Stevie was definitely an extremely accomplished and decorated show dog in his day...an impressive Grand Champion to be exact! However, when the time came for Stevie to leave his life in the show ring and become a house pet, he was unsure about what that entailed. When Stevie arrived at Remy's Reach Animal Rescue he quickly learned that life as a pet was something he definitely wanted!
❤️ Journey to a Forever Home: Stevie was a little shy at first and not very familiar with living life as a pet. However, with love and patience, Stevie has become comfortable with all the activities and routines of living in a comfy home!
🏡 Happily Ever After: Today, Stevie lives with his wonderful family in his forever home and enjoys all the comforts of life and being completely spoiled! Some of Stevie's favorite activities now are hiking the trail near his home, visiting his other dog friends nearby, and lounging in the comforts of his home! He sent us some photos to prove it!
